World's largest Gold Coin (s)

In late 2007 The Royal Canadian Mint announced the arrival of a 100-kg, 99.999% pure gold bullion coin with a $1 million face value that, according to the Guinness World Records was the world's largest gold coin.

After several interested buyers came forward, the RCM decided to make a very limited quantity available for sale. Five of these gold bullion coins, weighing 3,215 troy ounces each, have been purchased by investors from Canada and abroad.
Not to be outdone in such matters, The Perth Mint in Australia took 18 months and unveiled a 1 tonne, 1,000 kilograms, or 32,150.7466 troy monster coin in late 2011.
